Asiya the wife of Pharaoh , “Die to live” ( Four great women Series part 1)

Vollbild anzeigen

We recite to you from the news of Moses and Pharaoh in truth for a people who believe.

Indeed, Pharaoh exalted himself in the land and made its people into factions, oppressing a sector among them, slaughtering their [newborn] sons and keeping their females alive. Indeed, he was of the corrupters.

And We wanted to confer favor upon those who were oppressed in the land and make them leaders and make them inheritors( surah 28: 3-5)

Society today has murdered the Muslim man via character assignation and wants to continue to do so and prevent what cant be prevented anyway. They want to keep The women alive under one condition “you stay weak and powerless”. In this article we will see with permission of ALLAH SWT how one women faced the same problems women are facing today, and how one woman became an example for mankind. There two key problems why we having this discussion. First of all The belittlement of the responsibility of the wife and secondly the jealously and envy of the women that stand against the norm. All these attributes we tend to lack in our society, Asiyah ( may blessing and peace upon her) had in much tougher times. She died to live but how is the are we going to keep the female alive ? let’s see.

asiya

Countless attacks on the Muslim woman. Her status, her reputation, her values, her being, as strong hold of the family all questioned and disregarded. The Muslima has been maligned and ignored. She has been pushed aside and strangers forcefully started representing her values, apparently. “We the authority will respond on her behalf, she needs our help, she is oppressed”. “We are the only people who can decide her fate and how she ought to conduct her life”. “If she goes against us without permission she must be destroyed”.

A familiar narrative, to be exact in the same command form used by Pharaoh the worst tyrant that ever existed in History. This reaction of the  Pharaoh and his people when Moses and Aaron  (may Peace be upon them )came to challenge the status Quo with a new ideal way of life. History rewind, a similar approach by a society full of Hedonism and cupidity ready to take up the challenge of the ideas. False Prophets and weak magicians.

The voice of western media has become a bully on the block. The media an institution that does not compromise. Its fruits materialized  in France with the  ban of the Burqaa. They want freedom  for “HER”  but how ? How when we all are slaves in  one way or the other. We are slaves with different masters. Liberation for the women when we are born to be slaves ? The Muslim women decides to enslave herself to the one and only Al AHAD. The Same way ASIYA decided to go  against the authority which lead to her death, what death really means in this context will be revealed at later stage . The Noble Quran tells us….

Pharaoh] said, “You believed him before I gave you permission. Indeed, he is your leader who has taught you magic. So I will surely cut off … I will crucify you on the trunks of palm trees, and you will surely

They said, “Never will we prefer you over what has come to us of clear proofs and [over] He who created us. So decree whatever you are to decree. You can only decree for this worldly life. (20 : 72-73)

Asiyah bint Muzahim or also know as the wife of the Pharaoh the tyrant, the worst disbeliever and claimant of godhead, is one of the four great Women that attains this status in a time similar to our yet not fully comparable. She makes two vital decision that change her life, and both decision against the social norm. Two decision that forced her to look beyond the material life. These two decision make her example for all generations. It’s ironical that the perfect balance of femininity and her bravery imparted her the privileged to be on the position of great esteem and be on the everlasting Pedestal of gold.

Asiya was the reason for the rescue of a nation. Her maternity instinct allowed her to save what really belonged to her. Pure Femininity, and maternity was the key in society where men were seen as Gods, a nightmare for feminist an reality for Asiya. Let us repeat it again she was the reason for the rescue of a nation because she took ownership over the situation.  She said to Pharaoh and the Noble Quran Tells us

asiya 2

And the wife of Pharaoh said, “[He will be] a comfort of the eye for me and for you. Do not kill him; perhaps he may help us, or we may adopt him as a son.” And they perceived not.  (28:9)

This decision predestines her fate. The killing of newborn continues to take place in our modern society. The differences between the society Pharaoh was presence, and our is that the babies are not born at all. The woman has to compete with her career, and cannot afford to be pregnant therefore pregnancy is seen as weakness.

ishr-burka these are the tactics they try to distort the image of the Muslim women

Dr. Henry Makow mentions in his article ‘  ” Feminism teaches woman who feminine nature has resulted in “oppression” ant that she should convert to make behavior instead, The result a confused and aggressive woman with a large chip on her shoulder, unfit wife to become a  mother. This can be mirrored into statistics. For example in a research documentary by the title of “The world is Changing” world’s changing demographics is shown for various regions. According to this documentary if any culture wants to maintain itself more than 25 years then its fertility rate should  be at least 2.11 children/per family. Historically a culture has never reversed its dying process with a fertility rate of 1.9 children per family. This process is impossible to reverse at the fertility rate 1.3 children per family. The fertility rate or various countries in Europe were well all under 2.11 rate in 2007.In France the fertility rate was 1.8, 1.6 for England 1.3 Greece 1.3 for Germany 1.2 for Italy 1.1 for Spain and 1.6. The fertility rate for th entire European Union combined is 1.38.

The second decision, and out of the two probably the best decision was her decision to leave all worldly affairs behind for everlasting place in paradise. She left  power and  wealth behind. She was the Queen and had everything a woman could dream of. She recognized the opportunity to rescue the baby that turned to be her means of salvation. She ultimately embraced death in worldly sense to proceed to her real home. And The Noble Qur’an tells us

“God sets forth an example for those who believe — the wife of Pharaoh who said: My Lord, build for me with Thee a house in heaven, and save me from the Pharaoh and his doings, and save me from an unjust people.”(Surah 66:11)

Its only Jealousy

These are the verses and many more directed towards women, and men to follow. The manifestation of this Surah makes it even clearer. Many people don’t know but the reason behind  revelation of the Surah was due to a plot set by the two wives of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم‎ ) . Jealousy overtook them.

It is recorded in Sahih of Bukhari and in other collection of Ahadith on the authority of Sayyidah Ai’shah  that it was daily practice  of the Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم‎ ) of  ALLAH  ( سبحانه و تعالى ) to visit each of his wives after Asr prayer for a short time inquiring about their welfare. Once he visisted Sayyidah Zainab( may Allah be pleased with her) and spent  more time with her than normal and had some honey offered by her. Sayyidah A ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) says ” I developed some envy and in consultation with Hafsah decided that when the Messenger() of ALLAH ( سبحانه و تعالى)would visit any one of us, she would say to him have you had `maghafir ( a herb that resembled gum with a slightly unpleasant smell)  They executed their plan.

The Messenger of Allah  said  “I have not  had any Maghafir. I only had some honey. “The Holy wife said: “It  is possible that the honeybee might have sat on the Maghafir shrub and drank its nectar. The messenger of Allah , because of his natural dislike for unpleasant odour, swore and promised not to take honey any more. However, he did not want the feelings of Sayyidah  Zainb (may Allah be pleased with her) to be hurt, and he said to his wife that the incident should be kept secret and should not be recounted to anyone else, But she told about it to another wife.

Some reports say that it was at the house of Sayyidah Hafsah( may Allah be pleased with her) that was served with honey, and that the wives who planned were recount the incident in other ways. It is possible that many incidents of similar nature might have taken place and these verses were revealed after them.

greetings_cards-p137385233648478960qtetd_152

How are we going to connect the dots from here ?  let’s think about  what we discussed and the noble Qur’an says. Asiya is elevated as example for the believer through the her sacrifice she offered. However considering the context and the time the verse was revealed, Jealousy was the cause for these pious women( may Allah swt be pleased with them) to plot against another women that caught the attention of her husband (صلى الله عليه وسلم‎ ).

“Mothers, sisters and daughters, If that was a reality at that time what makes us think it’s different now ? ” Jealousy and envy is what drives them insane. It’s not because they want your freedom, its because they know that it is wrong to dress in a revealing manner is wrong. Its because they know that they are wrong for their choice of lifestyle. Shaytan indeed aim was to have a nude society from the beginning of time.

O children of Adam, let not Satan tempt you as he removed your parents from Paradise, stripping them of their clothing to show them their private parts. Indeed, he sees you, he and his tribe, from where you do not see them. Indeed, We have made the devils allies to those who do not believe. (7:27)

We live in times where marketing they direct towards nudity. it is is done in unprecedented fashion and a novelty to our brains.Women suffer at work places because of it and are sometimes discriminated if they don’t have the look or adhere to a more erotic dress code.

Carol Vorderman has revealed she was once told she would never make it as a TV presenter because “her boobs weren’t big enough”.l living in male dominated society. a society that claims to be so advanced and tolerated. These are the anecdotes that make a huge amount of women in the west and elsewhere.

They Proclaim” We  are modern people, in Modern times” but are they not the same people heralding “we progressed since the Neanderthal”. When Neanderthal themselves were wearing clothes. We live in a time where the women is only seen as commodity. A fraction of women refuse to lose the piece of cloth that connects them to their creator. As result of that the world turns against them. ” How can they refuse River island, Top Shop and Tyra banks in exchange for a veil” these are the sentenced whilst they plotting.

The same  way the magician were planning against Musa and Harun ( Aley Selam).  Asiya( may peace be upon her) in the midst of this trails exceeds most of the people and created an astonishing legacy. She died to live because she left this world behind and endured the affliction and decided with conviction what was the truth in a time where the truth became falsehood and falsehood truth. Internchange pleads the women of this nation, Muslim, non-Muslim, Christian, Hindu and Jew, Sikh and Buddhist take an example in this Great woman( may Allah  be pleased with her). Be inspired and follow. Be inspired and teach. Be inspired and be Great. A Great woman.

The Four Great Women Serie, the only soulution in the 21st century an Introduction

Narrated Anas [may Allah be pleased with him]:
that the Prophet () said: “Sufficient for you among the women of mankind are Mariam bint ‘Imran, Khadijah bint Khuwailid, Fatimah bint Muhammad and Asiyah the wife of Fir’awn.”
English reference  : Vol. 1, Book 46, Hadith 3878, Grade Sahih, Darusalam
We all heard numerous stories about them. Their historical legacy embedded in our minds, yet almost forgotten. “The Four Great Women” function as Shining examples for both male and female, female and male, djinns and humans. They represented dynamic personalities that reacted in a situation of  black despair extraordinary well. These women have been elevated surpassingly to high ranks, by exceeding their capacities and embracing the fact they were women. “Strong Women”, in Male dominated social systems, where authority constituted male supremacy and women were regarded as subordinated.

All four women have outstandingly paradigm shifted whole nations, with pure simplicity. They knew, to be on the safe side, their spirituality had to be nurtured and the relationship with their creator, had to intensify constantly. The Life lesson they experienced exhibited their abilities to perform better than most of us . The attempt to strive, for the one thing everyone else seemed to ignore and disregard. They made sacrifices and lead by example. Today their qualities are urgently needed

.muslim-women682_430329a(Four Strong Muslima may Allah Strengthen our sister across the globe)

Needed in a time where leading figures and institutes misguided the modern women, and she subsequently, became a battle ground for a proxy war.To many stakeholders, and geopolitical interest in the affair of the Women. This battle is so destructive that the outcome will lead to obliteration of the family structure, hence progressive society by any means. The exploitation of the woman. Women from all backgrounds, nations and classes targeted. The so-called rescue of the oppressed women, especially Muslimah. Liberty from religion and ancient traditions.  Who are the people who want to disable and paralyse the womanhood ?. A good question to ask, as false beliefs  are still propagated and promoted. Euphemisms the key component, when modernisation is marketed as an ideology and not a condition which naturally finds its ways into a society.

bannerfans_8571278-10

They replaced the truth with false idols and ideals. They produced puppets to be followed, and used the struggle of the woman as an Opportunity to conquer and divide the family. For the one  who divides families, he has the ability to destroy nations. The equation is simple distract the Fathers, brainwash the children and tell the mother she has to be liberated  from all of her misery. Welcome to the 21st century, a dysfunctional society, with Dysfunctional individuals. Why and how the women plays such an important role will become clear along the journey to the past. A wise woman once said don’t kill yourself in the present for the past mistakes, a wiser woman answered and said ” then stick to something that neither of both”. So where do we have to look for timeless solutions and examples, regardless of their race and class? We suggest a book that expresses itself in manner that is completely different to us. This source of guidance is holistic and offers us guarantee for a lifetime.

This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah ( Surah Baqarah : 2)

The four great women have been mentioned in the holy Qur’an and some in the bible and other historical records. Whether it is Aasiyah the wife of the tyrant Pharaoh, whose earthly sense of pain disappeared,  Mariam the mother of Isa ( jesus may be peace upon him) who was strong in a time of vulnerabilities.

pharo( relief on a egyptian wall with a god a pharaoh an his wife)

Khadeejah the wife of the Prophet Muhammad (  صلى الله عليه (وسلم  whose support moved mountains and  the best woman of her time and Fatima bint Rassul (  صلى الله عليه وسلم‎ )  the daughter of the prophet may peace be upon them all have surpassed any women in excellence for various of reasons and represent beacon of light for the women and men in its entirety. “The four great women” article series are going to be published in four articles.

The stories might be of the past, but they are certainly not obsolete in the 21st century. Internchange’s aim to dissolve the rusted shackles of the old ignorant. Although the problems are only reshaped, rearranged, remolded, the answers remain the same.

Damsel in distress still vibrant within literature and the entertainment industry, which complements the sexual imagery of the women in the magazines. The struggle continues for the women socially and economically. Waiting for a utopia in a world that does not posses the characteristics of  Sir Thomas More’s Utopia. Instead emptiness promoted unknowingly and partly supported by the innocent women. Emptiness in actuality the cause of the intellectual evaporation and the eradication of the spiritual well-being, created a society that is slowly dying. A void that can only be filled with one form of “nutrition”. ” Emaan” which is bestowed upon the one who seeks it, is the “food of soul”. However revaluation the situation we see that most of the void replaced with exhaustive demands that create delayed gratification pattern which fail to fully bring joy ,peace and harmony. We all need to ask ourself or each other ” Are you Famined ” ?

famined

Have you reached a level where your soul or the void remains undernourished and lacks the right substance ? have you reached the stage where you claimed to use logic but emotion overtook by far and you did not recognize it instantly or not even at all.

“Whether you hide your word or publish it. He certainly has full knowledge of the secrets of all hearts. He is the One that understands the finest mysteries and is well-acquainted with them.” (Surat al-Mulk, 67:13-14)

Al Mussawir ( the fashioner) undoubtedly know what we inhabit in our souls and He (exalted is he ) only knows the perfect answer to Sigmund Freud quote ”  what does a women want ?”

Everyone wants to be treated well, everyone wants to have equal rights. Are we all proportionally judged and  measured accordingly. What are equal rights. Who sets those rights, and why are we still debating whether feminism is a good thing or not.

In the meantime we should take a pause and wait for greatness to come if (Allah wills)  for the greatest source of power, wisdom and knowledge. We should wait for the massive spectacle to unfold and blossom like lotus flower in mid August. The beauty of the history and the legacy that  these women from the past left are way too notorious to just fade away in this wild wide world of ambush predators waiting for the right moment to prey on the victims and break the bone of the household. The operation of to Closing down the school of early life(mother), and replace it with the morally corrupt, morally repugnant doctrine. Misguidance  has survived the same way light has survived. The differences between Noor and the false enlightenment is like  the myth behind the Olympic flame that needed to be re-lit using cigarette lighter after a rainstorm doused at 1976 Summer Olympics held in Montreal, Canada. and  the Volcano of Pompey The Four Great Women their light giant in a small wolrd. All we can do now is wait and anticipate what these women can bring to the table in times of despair.

The Lucy Vallender case, the first Transgender Muslim

Vollbild anzeigen

Âñòðå÷à Âëàäèìèðà Ïóòèíà ñ Ñèíäçî Àáý( Lucy Vallender)

The case Lucy Vallender puzzles us and raises question, In fact many question. Whilst reading the article sceptically, we must carefully examined the tone and the narrative. What is really being said and why its being said. We don’t question Lucy Vallender credibility of the surgery nor the reversion to Islam but it is the story. Lucy says that she embraced Islam because of the peace that it promotes.  Vallender adds ” i thought about it for a while but it is such a taboo i thought, but I did it because it is a  nice religion, so peaceful. I felt good and i had something to believe in, I felt happy and relieved at last- the happiest I’ve ever felt in my life”

verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest(13:28)

This must be a verse that could be attributed to Lucy Vallender experience. However to fully experience peace with Islam and ALLAH (exalted is he)  one must strive to adhere to what ALLAH (exalted is he),orders to ones best of ability. Explicating this notion further we must assume Lucy Vallender does not have extensive knowledge about Islam, as the reversion to Islam only happen last year.  Although one thing might have been clear. The five pillars of Islam and the fundamental articles of faith, especially the last one. Accepting the decree of ALLAH( exalted is he) and that the she was actually born in male body as ALLAH( exalted is he) Decreed.

Furthermore acknowledging that ALLAH,( exalted is he )is free from imperfection, and therefore intented for Lucy to be man. Secondly we must try look at the intention Lucy Vallender coming out and speaking out against her local mosque.

As an individual being married, protecting the family becomes a priority. Therefore coming out and speaking out on such a matter may seem really egoistic. Also why is that the there not much mention of Murad the alleged husband. So if the community in Swindon condemned and forcefully sent Lucy Vallender to exile what does the husband has to say about it and the close relatives.Something becomes even clearer during the Interview. Lucy Vallender admits to have feelings for man, and that the tendency  towards has  not been changed. The dilemma joining the Army In Gloucestershire did not change the fact, Lucy still felt in the wrong body attracted to other man. Lucy still felt like being in the wrong body. Lucy Vallender used to be called Laurens and says she is finally ‘ true to herself’ after the sex change three years ago.

These feelings are not shared with the wider Muslim community in Swindon, Wiltshire. The 28-year-old relates about the events at the local  Masjid and how they rejected Lucy Valleder new identity, by refusing  to pray with Muslim women. The refusal to not attend the Masjid was independently as Lucy felt not to be part or the community any longer. So using the heading such as Transsexual i ban from Masjid is mischievous.

Vallender claims that community member practiced discrimination by asking  question, such as the size of her bra, Menstruation cycle, the Adam apple and the gender. Vallender says she has been victimized by worshipers. And that they are just frightened of her transsexual person.  We believe that there is a different agenda behind the story. We looked at headlines regarding the story and we realized that most news outlet concentrated on the Muslim community and the discrimination that has been committed.

Lucy vallenders seems to be oblivious to the paradigm shift in The England and wales. A divisive debate about the Same sex marriage finally found strong hold and its part of the Matrimonial laws in England and Wales. All major political parties backed  the controversial legislation and the law received Royal Assent 2 months ago. These major changes have surely influenced Lucy to say things  like “I want to get justice’ for transgender and Muslim people or ” I hope people will change their attitudes and other people like me realize they are free to just be themselves. There is no doubt that we live in times where certain ideas are being aggressively promoted.  he conservative and traditional way of live  being challendge . Religious institution are under pressure to adjust  to these new customs that seem to gain more dominance by the day.

The curse of War, the solider that were send to hell (Part 1 of the War series)

Vollbild anzeigen

War in essence has been a part of humanity from the beginning of creation. American humorist and writer Mark twain says “God created war so that Americans would learn geography.” This statement alone manifest the last millennium and far beyond.

Primatologist Richard Wrangham, a major proponent of this idea, developed the “Imbalance of Power Hypothesis” to explain how evolution could produce a propensity for warfare in humans.

Richard Wrangham ( Dr. Richard Wrangham)

The “Imbalance of Power Hypothesis” is largely based on evidence of violence in the animal world, particularly observations of violent behavior among chimpanzees. But other social scientists have instead studied modern humans in an attempt to discover whether warfare is rooted in evolution.

The idea is that our primate ancestors could have gained access to additional food and other resources by attacking and killing their neighbors. Dr. Wrangham reasons, our ancestors would have carried out deadly attacks only when they severely outnumbered their victims. The conclusion is that our ancestors who were psychologically predisposed to cooperatively pick off their neighbors would have had a distinct evolutionary advantage. Or, in Dr. Wrangham’s words, ”there has been selection for a male psyche that, in certain circumstances, seeks opportunities to carry out low-cost attacks on unsuspecting neighbors”.

What does the Islamic tradition tell us about it

Al Ghazzali states in his book ” On the Treatment  of Anger, Hatred and Envy” that anger has been created in a person so as to be his weapon in order to stop anything harmful to him, just as an appetite was created to be his tool to draw what his beneficial from himself. He also adds that there is no escape from both of these urges. If we re-evaluate the statement we find that these two things actually become driving forces during war.

He said “Descend you both from it altogether, you are enemies to each other

(Surah Ta-Ha : 123)

This was a command From Allah  سبحانه و تعالى  to Adam and Shaytan to recognize the relation between the human and the evil invisible. This becomes clearer in the next verse.

And their lord called out to them saying”Did i not forbid you from that tree, and say to you SATAN WAS AN AVOWED ENEMY to you,  ( surah  Al-Araf:22)

Ibless is a clear enemy to us and is relentless, and his hatred for us is so immense and will continue as long as the sun orbits in this universe. Adam ( may peace be upon him) The father of mankind knew it and we should know it. The Origin of the battle stem from the animosity of our greatest combatant “Shaytan”.

The Death of a Solider

It has been ten years and British Soldiers have been participating in a war that many consider to be war that was instigated for the wrong reason. In 2012, 50 soldiers committed suicide according to BBC panorama.

Lance Sergeant Dan Collins who survived a bomb blast while serving in Helmand Province in Afghanistan in 2009, killed himself on New Year’s Eve in 2011 after suffering with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, the BBC reported.

An MoD spokesman said: “Every suicide is a tragedy and our thoughts remain with the families of all those who have sadly taken their own lives. The Ministry of defence and the NHS must have a greater understanding of how to support soldiers and veterans suffering from Service-related mental ill-health”.

Let’s look at the bigger picture, these soliders are not mentally but spiritually broken. Whether its £7.4 or £7.5 million a year is spent on these treatment, it wont change the fact that the experience will last forever.  Ignoring the Cry of Lance Sergeant Dan Collins and many more Soliders will just deteriorate circumstances. By analyzing Lance Sergeant Dan Collins last message we can understand what is really happening.

“Hey mum, just a video, just to say I’m sorry, OK?          solider

“Ever since I’ve come back from hell, I’ve turned into a horrible person and I don’t like who I am anymore.

“This is why I’m doing what I’m doing, OK? I know it’s selfish but it’s what I want and what I need. I can’t live like this any more. One thing I’d like to ask is could I have a full military funeral, if that’s possible? That’s how I’d like to go.

“Mum, please don’t get too upset. You’ve got to understand this is what I want. I’ve tried all the help. There’s nothing seems to be working, OK?

“I love you, OK, and I’ll see you, I’ll see you up there in a few years, well hopefully not a few years, but you know what I mean. I love you. Bye bye.”

The simple truth is this: During my first deployment, I was made to participate in things, the enormity of which is hard to describe. War crimes, crimes against humanity,” wrote Somers. “Though I did not participate willingly, and made what I thought was my best effort to stop these events, there are some things that a person simply can not come back from.

As Somers highlights in his note, 22 military veterans commit suicide every single day. Amongst active-duty soldiers, more than one a day commit suicide, a figure that surpassed the number of US troops killed in combat in Afghanistan. What is the reason behind these incidents.

Misconduct in war

One British soldier has been fined and another has had his rank reduced at a court martial after admitting abusing civilians in Afghanistan.

warr lord

At the hearing in Germany, one soldier admitted pulling an Afghan boy’s hand towards his crotch; the other admitted racially abusing an Afghan man.

Their patrol commander was cleared of failing to deal with the offences.

The three men have been granted anonymity amid fears naming them would endanger them and their families.

Judge Advocate Alan Large said it would be wrong to name the soldiers in light of the murder in Woolwich of Drummer Lee Rigby and concerns about the threat posed by “lone wolves”.

The US army staff sergeant who is charged with slaughtering 16 villagers in one of the worst atrocities of the war in Afghanistan has agreed to plead guilty in a deal to avoid the death penalty, his attorney told the Associated Press on Wednesday.

Staff Sergeant Robert Bales attended at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, south of Seattle and pleaded guilty last June.

At the overall picture both lives are being destroyed. The leaders behind  these campaign care less or they unable to change the situation. The chief of Shayateen personally rejoices of these death as pain and animosity is creates in a concentrated level.

The real reason behind the pain

war and pain

Reason is the key component that offers us choices when we are faced with two options. In war, in particular, these decisions either mean i survive or i get killed. Many people would go for the option to kill before to be killed, however studies and interviews suggest the contrary. Evidence of a powerful resistance to killing has popped up in unexpected places. Informal interviews conducted with thousands of American combat soldiers during World War II by army historian S.L.A. Marshall revealed that as many as 75% of soldiers never fired their weapons during combat. Soldiers will not return fire during combat if left to their own devices has been corroborated by evidence and accounts from other wars, including the American Civil War, World War I, and the Falklands War. Lt. Col. Dave Grossman, a psychologist and professor of military science, commented on the study and  says “that there is within most men an intense resistance to killing their fellow man. A resistance so strong that, in many circumstances, soldiers on the battlefield will die before they can overcome it.”

So if people resistance as it is, what happens when they start killing? The many soldiers that have these everlasting feelings of guilty are traumatized and lost in their past experiences of war. They fought for the wrong reasons. They Killed for the wrong reasons. They did not understand why they were fighting for. For what sake were they fighting for. If we look into the Islamic tradition we will find astonishing stories and the opposite of what we know war consist of. This of course only happens when if the intention were right, this becomes evident in the battle of the trench where Ali  ( may Allah be pleased with him) a companion and son in law of the prophet ( صلى الله عليه وسلم‎ ) responded to the duel that was requested by Amr’. However Ali ( may Allah be pleased with him)  decides not to kill Amr because his intention changed during the duel. Here is extract of the battle.

A life spent in violence must end with violence. He gathered the spittle in his mouth and spat into the face of Ali!He knew what would happen. He knew that there would be a sharp intake of breath, that Ali’s right arm would shoot into the air and then plunge the dagger into his throat. Amr was a brave man and could face death without flinching. He arched his back and raised his chin?to offer his throat to Ali, for he knew what was to come. At least he thought he knew!
But what happened next left him even more bewildered. Ali rose calmly from Amr’s chest, wiped his face, and stood a few paces away, gazing solemnly at his adversary. “Know, O Amr, I only kill in the way of Allah and not for any private motive. Since you spat in my face, my killing you now may be from a desire for personal vengeance. So I spare your life. Rise and return to your people!”

Throughout history and around the world people have come up with ways to overcome an aversion to killing, such as dehumanizing the victim, placing distance between the killer and the victim, and using drugs or loud music to induce a trance-like state in a killer. In fact, following publication of Marshall’s findings in the aftermath of World War II, the U.S. military embarked on a campaign to more effectively prepare soldiers for combat by employing realistic training exercises. New recruits began to practice shooting at pop-up, human-shaped targets rather than the traditional, stationary bull’s-eyes. More and more elaborate and realistic combat simulation exercises and ’war games’ were implemented. The point of this new training was to make killing an automatic response under combat conditions. And it worked. Interviews with American soldiers during the Vietnam War revealed that somewhere between 80 and 100 percent of soldiers shot at enemies during firefights.

These techniques have got clear side effects on the solider and their families. If we look at Ali ( may be pleased with him) we see that he refused to kill Amr because it would have been unnatural in that case. He made clear to himself and the enemy that he only kills for the sake of Allah ( سبحانه و تعالى) and this gave him this great status being in control of that intense moment. In contrast the modern solider is feed with false beliefs and artificially motivated. The problem here is that the motivation only remains for the moment. The past catches up with these individuals and creates never ending spiral that drags the emotion like quick sand.
