The Dawah Movement has been catapulted into new dimensions. The renown international speaker Pierre Vogel presented an Islamic lecture in front of 500 audience in Germany 2 days ago. Three women openly accepted Islam and were warmly welcomed with a takbeer that shook the entire city. Something that seems so strange to us here in the UK is nothing new for Pierre Vogel. The Da’ ee has spoken several times in front of big masses in Germany’s biggest cities. About 7 people in total accepted Islam. The Dawah Movement provides an alternative for young Muslim to engage and redefines their identity.
Mainstream Media outlets in the past used the immigration argument to render a whole generation as socially incompatible with German values. Studies, books suggested that young German with an ethnic background were more prone to commit crimes. Thilo Sarrazin the German politician, writer, published the controversial book “Deutschland schafft sich ab” (“Germany Is Abolishing Itself”) end of August 2010. The book became the highest sold book on politics by a German-language author in a decade, with overall sales hitting 1.1 million copiesand the first editions sold out within a matter of hours or days.
Sarrazin suggests in the book that many Arab and Turkish immigrants were unwilling to integrate. One of the key aspects of the book were related to immigration policies and the welfare System. The former member of the Executive Board of the “Deutsche Bank” is a well-known proponent for a restrictive immigration policy, on less educated immigrants. Furthermore remarks regarding Islam are in the book.
He sasy, among other things: “No other religion in Europe makes so many demands. No immigrant group other than Muslims is so strongly connected with claims on the welfare state and crime. No group emphasizes their differences so strongly in public, especially through women’s clothing. In no other religion is the transition to violence, dictatorship and terrorism so fluid.
What caused more tension was the support of high profiled politicians that failed to comprehend the real social problems many young Muslim are exposed to in Germany. Subsequently shocking results of the Polls suggested that almost half of the German population agree with Sarrazin’s political views and 18 percent would vote for his party if he started one. In a survey conducted for the Süddeutsche Zeitung newspaper among 10,000 Sarrazin readers, an overwhelming majority was shown to be male, middle-class, middle-aged to elderly, conservatives.
These very ideas that were shared with some of the Public members, authorities and politicians created the Gun Powder for the already heated atmosphere. Two years ago a similar public speaking event resulted to a chaotic brawl between attendees and the local police in Bonn, Germany. Piere Vogel is known to be an energetic Public speaker and has spoken in favour for Islam on national TV serveral times. A turning point in the Dawah Scene occurred when Adnan Rashid, john Fontain Hamza Tzoris, Musa Ibn Adnan, Suboor and Esa Khan on one stage conveying the message. A powerful Imagery of one of the leading figures in the world all together pronouncing Islam to be the only truth. Dawah Metropolis( london) and Dawah Al mania a possibility to be the leading Hubs for the new Dawah Front.

We all have been witness to how much of an effect we can have collectively, how much we can change when we work together. Katy Perry, Amir Khan, Russell Brand, Eminem, Veena Malik and now the rapper The Game have come in touch with Islam. “Dawah Mania” seems to continue. Allah swt facilitated John Fontain to meet the US rapper in a restaurant in North England. john says ” the incident is a reminder and Hadeeth moment”. What that really means will become clear in the video.
John Fontain met The Game and his entourage in a restaurant in Manchester initially, to have an interview with him. And faced an unhappy security guard who almost prevented Brother john to pass on the message.Despite of that the decree of Allah swt and the persistence John Fontain assured the message to be conveyed. John told us ” I said to the security guy hey, I want to speak to the Game, Hey the Game !” “He then looked at me”, ” Do you know Napoleon?” he answered ” yes I do “, ” I am his friend and I have a message for you”. At this point The Game looked terrified as if he heard the message before. He answered and said “I am not a Muslim, I’m not interested in Islam”.
( Kid red was not exempt from it may Allah guide him)
The moral of the story became clear to John after the rapper left. It was not The Game’s response but the behavior of certain Muslim at the restaurant. The so-called ” Hadeeth reminder moments” were life lesson and a mirror to the state of mind of the weakest among us. They say to know the problem of society look at the weakest among them. We acknowledge that anything that happens, occurs for a reason. John Fontain tells us that he is concerned with what he saw, the pain he felt.
The imbalance is reality. On the other side of the world children are dying by eating bullets instead love and justice. Politician and Kings are dying by eating notes and Gold instead of love and justice. Brothers like Moazzem Begg imprisoned out of love to justice. Muslim teenager spiritually dying out of love to ignorance. In the middle of the turmoil believing people striving for Allah’s pleasures alone. “Believers we live trivial times, where profoundness is privilege to one part of society and offense to the other part”. Reward is secured for the one who acts accordingly. To fully understand what John saw with his eyes that upset so much, you will have to stick around and wait until the release of the video in an hour Insha Allah, in the meantime ponder upon all the things that have happened recently.

This is going to be a good thing during the Black History month. I urge everyone to attend it onlineUpcoming event : Black and Noble – A study of important black figures in Islamic history
Featuring :
Sh. Omar Suleiman | Imam Khalid Griggs | Ust. Nouman Ali Khan
What is this class about?
There is a misconception amongst many Muslims that Bilal Ibn Rabah (ra) was the only black companion. We will study the biographies of those men and women who were from the most noble of society and of the most noble of generations, the first three generations of Islam. We’ll look at the obstacles they faced and how they became the leaders of the Ummah. We’ll also examine how their marriages and personal struggles were impacted by the racism that was so prominent in Pre-Islamic Arab society. We will then study contemporary Black Muslim history with an emphasis on Malcolm X (ra) and what he means to all Muslims.
Why we’re doing it:
To educate Muslims about their history so that we can have greater appreciation for the contributions of our predecessors as well as the practical ways Islam battled racism from its inception.
Class Schedule:
Session 1:
Ust. Nouman Ali Khan – “Verily the most noble of you in the sight of Allah are the most pious amongst you.”

The Dawah Movement is taking a different direction. A direction that will reach people across the globe if Allah SWT permits. Internet da ee and activist Imran Ibn Mansur or also known as Dawah man( may Allah swt bless him) is the prime example for that. The Veenna Malik and Mike Tyson campaign engaged thousands of Muslim and non-muslim online. This method seems to work really well. The current campaign “Dawah To Eminem” accumulated over 10 thousand views in less then 24 hours. Renown poet and Internet sensation Kamal saleh becomes an an inspiration for Dawah man with his version of “Who is God- Allah ,Jesus or Eminem” which is currently has over 120,000 views see.
(Brother Kamal Saleh and Dr.Umar Faruq Abd -Allah)
Dawah to MTV is not a new methodology, if one studies the Seerah ( the life of the Prophet) carefully. Dawah to the leaders was a thing our noble Prophet also practiced . A powerful leader might reject the truth because of his position, however the followers could be touched by the message.
We all have doubts and recognize few dangerous traits in the society .The Celebrities we see now a days have great impact on peoples lives. Eminem in particular is most of time seen as lyrical genius and known for his unmatchable rhyming skills. History repeats itself and so do the people and the characters. Pre-islamic Arabia had an obsession with poetry. We have an obsession with glorifying people, that breath sleep, and eat like you and me.
Dawah to MTV is a tool that will liberate minds and be a means of emancipation for the minds . We are currently working on few online shows that share the same ideology. One show in particular, which focuses on celebrity culture is called ” On the wrong Carpet” that will be launched later this month. The intention is to attend red carpet events, film festivals, fashion weeks and Box office premieres.
